There are many ways that everyone can be involved!
SERVING OUR COMMUNITY . . .
Christ Lutheran, we believe that a church’s mission is to support our neighbors. We serve directly with ministries that provide food and shelter to others and we assist other agencies that are helping people on the Island, across the US, and in other countries. There are many ways that our members and friends can get involved and help other people. Just ask someone if you would like to help!
The Little Free Pantry – Members and friends maintain a free pantry that is in our parking lot. People can give and take food and household and personal care items at will.
Christ’s Love Food Pantry: Thursdays 4-5:30pm, in front of the Sale Building.
We need some people who would like to organize the food we received!

Backpack Buddies – Members and friends of Christ Lutheran pack lunches for students to take home during the school year.
Family Promise – Two times a year, Christ Lutheran hosts families in transition at our facilities for one to two weeks. Members and friends prepare the space, act as hosts, and provide meals. Link to Family Promise website.
Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity– Christ Lutheran is partnering with Habitat for Humanity, Thrivent, and eight other local churches in a 2021 Faith Build project to raise walls, funds and prayers to help build a home for a local family in need of safe, affordable housing. You can help make a difference — whether you want to volunteer on the construction site, provide lunch for a volunteer crew, share this fundraising page on social media, or make a financial contribution yourself. Deep Well – Deep Well is the main service agency here on the Island and it is near and dear to our hearts. Charlotte Heinrichs was a member at Christ Lutheran and the founder of Deep Well! The first Sunday of every month at Christ Lutheran Church is designated as Deep Well Collection Sunday. CLC collects items for donation to help Deep Well keep its pantries full.
